Daisy Training was formed in 2011 to meet the support needs of students in receipt of Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) in Cornwall. We have grown year on year and now support students across the South West from Cornwall to Devon, Dorset, Wales, London and Kent. We also provide AT Training for Access to Work clients and can fulfil your ATW needs in the South and in Wales.
We are committed to providing good quality, consistent tailored one to one support to students, ensuring they make the best use of the support allocated to them. Our Consultants are fully qualified to support students with disabilities and mental health issues in education and engage in Continuous Professional Development. Our philosophy is to behave ethically and respectfully to both students and to our Consultants who support them. We demonstrate this through our use of honest, open and clear communication with Consultants and students alike. Daisy Training recognises the unique professional skills and extensive experience needed in supporting students with disabilities in Higher Education. We acknowledge the value that this important role brings and we pledge to match the highest rates paid for NMH Support Workers in the South West. This benefits both workers and students, ensuring that we can attract and retain well qualified, experienced Consultants to ensure the highest quality support provision for our students.
We offer training and support where needed, to ensure that students will receive good quality support from their NMH helper. We promote sharing of best practice and resources where it would be helpful and encourage peer to peer discussion.
We are currently looking for experienced and committed support workers to join our team for a variety of roles supporting students in the South and in Wales. If you are interested in joining our growing team, please call us to discuss available opportunities, or send a CV with an introductory email.
